Adam’s Home on a Shell Mound in Pineland

Setting high atop an Indian shell mound and said to be the highest point in Lee County is this uniquely designed home built by Frank Adams in 1911.  The house has windows in all four directions and is surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation.  Because of its height, it was a safe haven during threatening hurricanes.
